Extension Requests

Request extensions you would like to see made for fb3 on this page. Suggestions have to be reasonable (i.e extensions are limited to small plugins so if you're asking for a huge overhaul of everything this isn't the place to do it)

• allow more file-types eg. jpg, JPG, png etc...(including for example GIFs for thumbnails)


• Multiple posts per page: Allow users of folderblog to post multiple images on the same page by adding a suffix to a filename. Say you use a numerical system to number your images, you have photo 1, 2, 3, 4 etc, but on day 5 you'd like to post a series of 3 images to appear on the same page because they only make sense as a series. Instead of just uploading an image called 5 with multiple pictures embedded in it, it would be really helpful if you could upload 5-a, 5-b, 5-c and they would all appear on the same page. There would need to be some customisable vairables such as vertical or horizontal posting and the padding between each image, etc.
  


• Watermark function for images


• Extension to make all links in the photo description open in a new window (make them all 'target="_blank"')


• moblog functionality: ability to post via mobile phone/email. All this requires is getting the image from the phone/email into the photos-directory. See or utilize flickr's moblog API?


• Extension to allow for pre-queueing or delayed posting of photographs (upload a bunch at a time and have Folderblog automatically "post" them with their captions and titles at pre-determined dates/times)
  
• Integration with Flickr? (Flickr allows posting to photoblogs "from" their site in some cases -- not sure of the mechanics of this)
