500 Internal Server Error(back to index)
can someone help me pls? I'm new to folderblog and I tried installing it. Have already uploaded a picture to folder photos. But when I access fb.php I get the following error. All my files set to 777 permission.

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@nadyne.moved.in and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Nadyne, I have been having the same problem as you with the internal server error 500. What did you change to allow the installation to go properly? I have been receiving the error under this url : http://www.chazsouthard.org/folder3/fb.php

I've also set permissions to 777 and have uploaded. One photo to the photo directory. Does anyone have any suggestions on my next step? I haven't played around with the templates yet...I'm just trying to see that and get the script to work.
Please help.
Thank you guys

I set the folders to 777, index.php (or fb.php, if that's what you're using) to 755, and the rest of the relevant files to 644. I don't know about permissions very much, but mine works with these settings :)

ok, I was having this problem too. The only thing which seemed to have fixed this is setting $use_alt_url to 1 in the fb_settings.php file. Hope this helps.
