Was wondering how do I go about creating a gallery using folderblog. I would like to have separate galleries for different events, and am not sure how to do it. Should I use categories as events?

Ty, categories would be the best way to do this. Just upload the folders exactly as you would if you were sorting them on your computer; i.e. photos/ for general photos or just an intro photo, photos/concert/ for concert photos, photos/hike/ for hike photos. You'll need to have at least one photo in your main directory. You'll probably want to set $include_cats to 0 and $reverse to 1 in fb_vars.php as well.
