just announced by Jobs it looks like a standard for photoblog rss feeds which can then be used to distribute the photos to pmps (like the ipod) as well as applications which could display the latest blog photo as a desktop background or screensaver.
Once the spec becomes known I think it would be a very very good thing for photocasting standard rss feeds to be automatically generated by fb4, or whatever it is you guys are cooking up as improvements for fb. Supporting it may be crucial to keeping fb and fb powered blogs alive if this takes off (and look what apple's standardizing podcasting did to it's usage statistics!)
