Legal situation of folderblog(back to index)Just a general question that comes up to my mind:
What about the legal situation of changing code lines in folderblog? With regard to the creative commons agreement that Tetto highlights for this website, this is prohibited.
So, anybody any comments on this? If changes or extensions are not allowed, I will drop the development.

I don't know what to say, it's hard to do anything if the original developer isn't around at all.
I hate to be a heretic, but I say we get everyone over to
Zenphoto. It would be great to get a collective effort on a more stable project.
Just a suggestion.

burn him! why what a two-faced thing to say...just what you'd expect from a guy with an album full of faces. which I'm fond of by the way, you take those?
I'd try zenphoto if it weren't for that the support system is organized by those damn hot tags. hate those things. If they'd just put the topic categories at the top instead of the bottom. Or even just ajax the option to make the hot tags menu disappear. I'm irrational. I can't stand looking at those tag menus. They got to go.
besides, i've almost got this working the way i'd like it to. change is hard.

I also have to say that I have little interest in changing the whole code again, just spent too much time on it. I might extend the code a little bit further for own purposes, but as long as nobody can contact Tetto about the legal issue I will not publish any new version.
If you guys want to change this, try to get his attention - I made several attempts without response so far.

I wonder if he's okay? Does anybody know him personally?
BTW the photos I put up are by my cousin. You can check out his site at:

That is indeed the same question I am asking me. There are almost daily updated pictures on his photoblog website, but this could easily be a script that adds files from an existing archive.
